In the maker’s words: Ignacio, founder of Llamas Custom Guitars

I’ve always known how to build guitars. Music, craftsmanship and creating instruments that people love, that’s my world. But knowing how to make an incredible guitar doesn’t necessarily mean you know how to build and run a business.

That’s where The Benison Group has made such a difference.

From developing my brand and website to helping with pricing, setting up the business and preparing everything for launch, they’ve been alongside me every step of the way.

What could have been an overwhelming and complicated journey has become something genuinely exciting and enjoyable. They’ve made things feel straightforward, helped me make better decisions and given me the confidence to turn my passion into a real business.

Having Benison on my side means I can concentrate on what I do best, building guitars, knowing I have people I trust helping me build everything around them.

03The founder

A name worth carrying.

Behind Llamas Custom Guitars is Ignacio — a maker whose passion for music and craftsmanship inspired an ambition to build instruments around the people who play them.

His expertise lay in the craft itself. Developing the identity, commercial structure and digital foundations of a business required a different set of capabilities.

That’s where Benison became involved.

04The identity

Giving the ambition an identity.

A guitar carries the character of its maker. The business behind it needed an identity with the same sense of individuality.

Benison helped develop the brand’s presentation, positioning, storytelling and digital identity, built around the Llamas emblem and wordmark.

05The digital experience

Craftsmanship, translated into digital.

Not simply a place to see the guitars. A place to understand the maker behind them.

Benison adapted, customised and implemented the Llamas website around the brand, its story and the way a customer explores a bespoke instrument.

The website builds on an existing design foundation, used with permission, which Benison adapted and developed for Llamas. The butterfly emblem and wordmark are Llamas’ own.

06The craftsmanship

Every detail matters.

Materials, proportions, finishes and details. Each instrument is shaped by decisions that make it individual.

The same attention to detail informed the way we approached the Llamas brand and its commercial presentation.

07The business we helped build

Beyond the brand. Beyond the website.

Making an exceptional guitar and establishing a business around that craftsmanship are two different disciplines.

Benison worked alongside Ignacio to connect the creative ambition with the commercial, technical and practical foundations needed to bring Llamas Custom Guitars to market.

  1. 01

    Brand identity and positioning

Developing the brand’s presentation, positioning, storytelling and digital identity, built around the existing Llamas emblem and wordmark.

  2. 02

    Product and pricing

Supporting the pricing structure and the commercial considerations behind bespoke guitar configurations.

  3. 03

    Commercial direction

Working through the commercial approach, the business proposition and the direction of the venture with Ignacio.

  4. 04

    Business establishment

Practical help with setting up the business and the foundations it runs on.

  5. 05

    Digital platform

Developing, customising and implementing the website, with support on its domain and configuration. The site is live; a custom domain is still to be connected.

  6. 06

    Marketing and pre-launch

Supporting the marketing approach, launch preparations and early audience-building, which continue as the business develops.

  7. 07

    Ongoing partnership

Working directly with Ignacio through calls, commercial discussions, decisions and practical problem-solving.

A business is more than the product it creates. It’s everything required to bring that product to the world.

08The next chapter

Built for what comes next.

What began with a vision for bespoke instruments has developed into a venture with a distinctive brand, a dedicated digital presence and a clearer commercial foundation.
